Waiters and waitresses

Has anyone ever suspected a waiter or a waitress of being a feeder or fat admirer?

I have had many waitresses encourage me to order more food.

haha sorry to say but I think that was probably just to increase the sale/tip
but of course I could be wrong and maybe they are all secret feeders

...or perhaps it's easier and cheaper to eat there and they're putting on a little weight because of it.

Lol I'm a waitress and I just try to sell desserts so they'll rack up a bill and leave a nice tip...
Haha sorry to dissapoint

I knew it! It's a world wide conspiracy against people like me! that's why i don't leave a nice tip ...MHAHAHAHA smiley

Hey, I'm trying to live off less then three bucks an hour... >.>
Better leave a tip

That is the difference between mainland Europe and US/Can. Here are wages included in price and only realy good treatment is rewarded with a nice tip, other tips are usually to make a round number...

We were once at a japanese restaurant with my wife's colleagues. It was a restaurant in wich we were sitting around the griddle and the cook came a few times that evening. Cooking with a fantastic show. Reading this thread, I think he maybe was a feeder. He made some nice comments about my wife and just gave her some extra's. My wife's boss asked afterwards if she was offended by his comments, but my wife said she was ok with it. Never rude and nicely said. And I think he gave her some extra pieces at the time.

Ah. I know the feeling. I love it when that happens.

Second new rule of FA etiquette: if your waiter or waitress can barely squeeze into their uniform, resist the evil temptation to 'accidentally' drop silverware so they have to bend down and pick it up...

This is also known as "not being an objectifying jerk" and is typically filed under Common Decency.
